On 27th Oct 2007, Metakix
headlined IIT Roorkee's Wargasm Open Air. The show also featured
Channel V Launchpad winners Super Fuzz and bands that got
selected at the Wargasm amateur band competition. This was the
first show on Metakix's India tour. The show had an attendance
of approximately 7000 ppl. Metakix played a devastating set, was
mobbed by a roaring crowd of hundreds on stage after the set for
autographs and finally did an awesome chilled out interview for
the music channel, Channel V (which would be airing in Nov'07).
This show was truly a great way to kickstart the tour.

Ivan Hurd, the uber cool Canadian guitarist, had been rehearsing
for a whole month to play with Metakix on the India tour.
However, due to some delayed paperwork could not make it this
time. Here's the Official
Statement from Ivan's Management (also happens to be
Sepultura's Management)

Viresh and Sheldy bring on the destruction...the crowd was HIGH!

Nicky stomps the stage monitor and his fingers do their magic.
Zomb delivers the blistering lead solo on HIGH.

And then goes berzerk like a madman cut loose on the post-lead
shredfest!

Ghost eyes Sheldy makes the drumkit his own personal biyatch!

Zomb teases the audience asking them if they are really ready
for more. The crowd responds with a deafening "YEAH!"

Metakix explodes with SMALL TOWN AGGRESSION. The changing tempo
in the song keeps the crowd on their toes. Plus the barricades
are put to the test.

Sheldy and Zomb headbang like machines.

Nicky ain't holding back either.

Viresh had a mini fan club of rioters right in front of him.
They break their necks together...figuratively speaking!

Somebody is already on stage to mob the band

Song after song, the band devastates.

YOU'RE BLOODY RIGHT and TRUE ALTER are instant hits with
Roorkee!

The final note is played and this earth-shattering show ends.

One for the album!! A PETA endorsement picture at IIT Roorkee!
This was clicked just before the show.
